Inspiration

I saw that most social media feeds only have posts from opinions that you agree with. I wanted to make an app where you could see a variety of opinions on different topics.

What it does

It allows people to see different opinions, along with sharing their own. This hopefully helps people be more understanding and realize why people think certain ways.

How I built it

I used flutter for the front end and firebase for the database.

Challenges I ran into

I had some bugs with implementing firebase into the app. I also found it a lot slower to work on a hackathon alone than with teammates like I have done previously.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

I'm proud of finishing the hackathon with a somewhat completed app, doing it all myself.

What I learned

I learned more flutter and firebase concepts. I was relatively new to flutter, but I learned a lot from doing this project.

What's next for window

Better machine learning, better UI, better database management
