Inspiration

The emergence of new technologies like Electrochromic/PDLC smart glass allows us to re-think the way we consume energy to create a habitable work environment. The use of smart glass allows us to directly combat climate change by eliminating the use of environmental heaters like air conditioners

What it does

Allows the User to block out the unwanted sun rays that cause heating in the room, additionally it can also block out rays that irritate eyes.

How we built it

We integrate Electrochromic and PDLC smart glass into your home and add automation solutions so that you can fully control the smart glass as you desire.

Challenges we ran into

The current costs of Electrochromic and PDLC materials are quite high. The cost and material availability to innovate new novel Electrochromic materials are high.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We have created a feasible business model to implement current technologies. Additionally, we have created a Novel Matrix Electrochromic display idea that needs further research.

What we learned

We learned information about different smart glass types and variations and benefits, computer vision, and automation, and that smart glass is a relatively viable option for a greener future.

What's next for Win.

The next steps are to integrate the business model and research ways to realize our novel idea and potentially find business partners.
