Inspiration

There has historically been a lack of representation of female protagonists in video games. This has led to a situation where many female gamers feel excluded or marginalized and where male gamers may develop unrealistic or objectifying attitudes toward women.

Solution

This game tries to show that women have the strength, courage, and determination to overcome obstacles and make a positive impact on the world. By featuring a female protagonist who is a skilled warrior and leader, the game could inspire players to see women as capable and powerful and challenge the idea that leadership and heroism are reserved for men.

What it does

In this intense Third Person Player (TPP) game, players will face a series of difficult challenges, dangerous enemies, and an ultimate boss battle. Navigate through treacherous terrain, solve puzzles, and overcome obstacles as you progress toward your final goal. This game will keep you on the edge of your seat with adrenaline-pumping action and an immersive storyline!

How we built it

While creating this game using C# and Unity engine, we acquired valuable technical skills and knowledge. We utilized Unity's Free 3D assets, such as Low-Poly Maps and Character designs, and learned how to effectively manipulate and control these assets to achieve the desired visual and gameplay outcomes. We also gained expertise in precision camera movement, enabling us to provide players with an immersive and dynamic gaming experience. Furthermore, we learned to implement complex game logic, including creative multiple waves of attacks, which required a deep understanding of programming and game design principles.

What we learned

Through the process of creating this game, we learned valuable lessons in teamwork and communication. Collaborating on a complex project taught us how to effectively divide tasks, leverage each other's unique skill sets, and prioritize our workload to ensure timely completion. We also developed stronger communication skills, learning how to give and receive constructive feedback, share ideas and resources, and collaborate efficiently and effectively. These skills not only benefited our work on the game but will also serve us well in future collaborations and projects.

What's next for will think about it

While our game is fully functioning and offers exciting gameplay, we're always looking for ways to improve and innovate. In the future, we hope to expand on the game's storyline, adding more depth and nuance to the characters and their motivations. We also plan to incorporate an educational element, exploring themes of gender roles and biases to raise awareness and foster meaningful dialogue among our players. Additionally, we plan to create more levels and challenging puzzles to keep players engaged and on their toes. es, and overcome obstacles as you progress toward your final goal.
