Inspiration AI is evolving faster than most people expected, and many people still don’t know how vulnerable their jobs are to automation.
The inspiration behind “Will AI Take Your Job?” was to create a platform that helps users understand career risks, future-proof skills, and the impact of AI on different industries before it becomes a serious problem.
What it does“Will AI Take Your Job?” is an AI-powered job risk analysis platform that evaluates how likely a profession is to be automated or replaced by AI technologies.
The platform: Analyzes different job roles Estimates automation risk levels Explains why certain jobs are vulnerable Suggests skills that may remain valuable in the AI era Helps users think ahead about career adaptation
How we built it
We built the platform using manus : AI-driven analysis workflows Prompt engineering techniques Automation logic for risk evaluation Frontend UI design for a simple user experience Web deployment tools for accessibility The focus was on creating a lightweight and fast platform that delivers understandable insights instead of complicated technical reports.
Challenges we ran into
Some major challenges included: Designing accurate AI prompts for meaningful analysis Structuring automation risk logic realistically Making AI responses useful instead of generic Building a clean UI with limited resources Balancing technical depth with user-friendly explanations One of the hardest parts was avoiding exaggerated AI predictions and trying to make the platform practical rather than fear-based.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Successfully built and deployed a working AI-based analysis platform Turned a complex topic into something simple and interactive Combined AI, automation, and product thinking into a real project Created a project that can start important discussions about the future of work Moved beyond tutorial-based learning into actual product development
What we learned
This project taught us: Real-world building is very different from just learning theory Prompt engineering heavily affects AI output quality Simplicity in UI/UX matters more than adding unnecessary features AI products need practical value, not just hype Shipping projects publicly builds confidence and experience faster
What's next for Will ai take your job
Future plans include: More accurate AI risk scoring models Industry-specific analysis Personalized career recommendations Skill roadmap suggestions Real-time AI industry trend tracking Resume and skill-gap analysis features Better data visualization dashboards The long-term goal is to turn the platform into a practical career-awareness tool for students, professionals, and companies navigating the AI era.
