Origin Story

The Bolt Hackathon was a wake up call. It showed millions that AI is rapidly reducing the importance of coding skills. But could it go further? Could it replace a programmer entirely? What about your job or your friend's?

I had been worrying about this for over a year, asking myself:

  • Could AI radically change the world?
  • Will it take all our jobs, or just some?
  • Is every job at risk?
  • Which ones might actually stay?
  • What can AI really do, and what can’t it?
  • Is my job safe?
  • Are we heading toward mass unemployment and universal basic income?

I started digging into reports and trends. I tried to envision the future so I could make a plan.
Everything online, from podcasts to news releases only increased my worry.

After all this spiraling, the hackathon finally gave me an opportunity to do something about it, so I built the tool I wish had existed:

Whats Next?

The more people we can help the better. You can get your AI risk score and basic job insights for free, but there is only so much we can do without funding. Our goal is to keep developing the site and expand into premium insights to raise money to take the project to the next level. More detailed insights, more personalised actions, and more ROI for the user.
