Inspiration

I was inspired by the way technology is being applied in our daily lives and so i wanted to also apply it in a sector like wildlife to tackle challenges in it

What it does

This is a monitoring system that will flag the sale of any endangered plant species on the E-commerce platforms thus creating awareness to the wildlife authority.

How I built it

I built it with a django api that provided the list of flower species and details on whether they are endangered or not. I used a reactjs as a frontend to display the details

Challenges I ran into

I faced challenges on getting data about the wildlife since i am not familiar with wildlife

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

I managed to finish the project in time

What I learned

I learnt to not give up on a challenge even when it seems to not going away

What's next for wildlife online sale tracker

The next item is to also include wild animals on the tracker instead of only wild plants
