Wildfire Detection Using a Neural Network Model.

My project uses a neural network to detect wildfires. It analyzes real-time images of forests to classify them as fire or non-fire, helping in early detection and prevention.

Inspiration

My inspiration for this project was the recent wildfires that occurred in Quebec and California, as well as the thousands of individuals affected by them.

What it does

It takes real-time forest images and identifies whether the images are wildfire or non-wildfire.

How we built it

I developed the model using the Python TensorFlow library on the Google Colab platform

Challenges we ran into

Formatting the images and Programming syntax issues.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I am proud of developing a working model to predict the wildfires. I hope to deploy on a hardware device for testing and real-time usage in the future.
