Wildalerts

Inspiration

Wildfires have ravages millions of lives of innocent animals in the past couple of years. There is a need of a solution that can stop this and save millions of innocent lives.

What it does

WildAlerts alerts the nearest wildlife authorities about fires originating so that it can be mitigated as soon as possible.

How we built it

This project is built using ReactJS, google maps cloud API for displaying the maps and the NASA API for getting wild fires data

Challenges we ran into

Overlaying the icons over the map was hard.
