The Wildlife Agency and Citizen Law Enforcement Reporting Tool (WildALERT) is primarily a mobile application that is equipped with a species library and a report management platform to easily identify, submit and manage reports from DENR front liners and other law enforcement officers.
The wildlife identification tool is supposed to provide enforcers with a preliminary identification of wildlife related to law enforcement operations. It is not meant to substitute the certification process needed to file criminal cases against a violator of wildlife laws
