It all started with a quirky idea from one of our own, Joshua. A few years ago, Joshua dreamt of a way to make learning quicker and more entertaining. Today, we bring you WikiWikiWikipedia, a Chrome extension that will blow your mind! It will enhance your learning by playing the audio of related Youtube videos and songs that you are concurrently searching in Wikipedia! Allow this add-on to assist your 'Wikipeding' needs.
What it does
WikiWikiWikipedia is a Chrome extension that plays relevant audio background tracks based on your current Wikipedia search.
How we built it
This add-on was built using a combination of JavaScript, CSS, and HTML scripts. Using page scans and YouTube API calls, YouTube searches were placed and results received, to show in addition to the Wikipedia page.
