Inspiration

Lacking the ability to preview wikipedia entries before opening them, which resulted in excessive tabs opened

How it works

A chrome extension that works in the following way: For every link on a wikipedia page, the appropriate image from the linked page is retrieved via HTTP request, and displayed as a tooltip over the original page.

Challenges I ran into

Lacking experience of web development. Finding the appropriate image proved to be challenging.

Getting it to work without previous knowledge in Chrome extensions
