What it does
Detects objects by transmitting and receiving WiFi signals (RSSI).
How we built it
ESP32 microcontrollers, C/C++ code, and some power supplies.
Challenges we ran into
The WiFi signal transmitted by an ESP32 is not the strongest, so it is challenging to detect all obstructions and filter them from unwanted noise.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We were able to send and receive data between our transmitters and receivers and we were able to detect motion on our laptops in between these receivers.
What we learned
Many small things cause signal interference

Having a very accurate system that can detect human beings from other objects.
