Inspiration
The Rasberry Pi 4 is a great cheap device for hacking. It's discrete yet powerful enough to run most hacking tools found on Kali Linux. For this hack, I wanted to test out how Aircrack-ng tools would work on the RPI4.
What it does
The hack captures a 4-Way Handshake and uses it to initiate a brute force its way into a wifi network using WPA/WPA2 authentication using a password list.
What we learned
A big takeaway from this was the realization that nothing is as secure as we think it is, there'll always be an exploit that lets you in. It was also great using an RPI4 to test out hacking tools and not having to use a VM which can lead to some unexpected behavior.
What's next for Wifi Hacking with a RPI4
I would like to buy the accessories that can make this hack 100% portable, so attaching an LCD screen and a power supply, that way this hack could be moved around and wouldn't be limited by big monitor I was using.
