Inspiration
What Inspired us Periods are messy — not just physically, but emotionally too. As a teen myself, I noticed that most resources either sounded too preachy, overly medical, or just awkward. No one talks about how chaotic, lonely, or even hilarious your first period can be.
So I asked myself: What if there was a digital space that felt like a friend — not a lecture?
That’s when “WhyMe” was born. A site made by Gen Z, for Gen Z, where crying, laughing, and WTF-ing are all totally okay.
A fun, emotional Gen-Z website for first periods. Learn, laugh, cry, and earn coins for healthy habits. Built with HTML, CSS & JS — WhyMe makes bleeding feel less scary and a lot more empowering.
using HTML, CSS & JavaScript with a Gen-Z UI. Designed clean, card-based pages, added animations, interactive buttons, and a gamified reward system — all with a mobile-first approach. e built it

Created a safe, relatable space for girls experiencing their first period, mixed humor with comfort, built an interactive UI, and designed a unique “Bleed & Earn” reward system — all from scratch.
