Inspiration
There are people that are not as aware of the BLM movement and why these riots are happening. Some are against it and some aren't sure. I wanted to give them the resources read about why these events are happening.
What it does
Due to an oversaturation of information out on the internet, it's hard to research every single detail of the movement to show others why they should be taking an interest. This would be a centralized location of information.
How I built it
I built the application with React and react bootstrap
Challenges I ran into
I wanted to get a modal to display a way to donate to the BLM organization but the modal would show up to the side.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
Getting the app up and running.
What I learned
Time management is very important.
What's next for Why is BLM important?
If the app is able to get completed, hopefully many people are able to use this as a resource to show others the importance of standing up for what's right.
