Inspiration

Most language apps are too broad and boring.
They teach you random words like random "names", "mom", "tall", or "window curtain" , when all you really want is to survive a date, navigate a city solo, or impress someone in a business meeting, get a good bargain in local market.

That’s not how a real tutor works.
A human would first ask,

"Why do you want to learn this language?"

Then they'd teach you accordingly:

If you're dating, you’d learn how to give compliments, ask someone out, or flirt naturally.
If you're traveling, you'd learn how to ask for directions, bargain at local markets, or order street food.

We built DAPI to make AI teach like a real, focused human tutor not a vocab quiz generator.

Custom lesson parser to turn raw AI output into usable vocab/sentences
Conversational Agent Engine that supports real-time language simulation and feedback
A full progress tracker and feedback system that adapts the experience as the learner grows

Challenges We Ran Into

Keeping AI output focused and useful for real-world scenarios
Designing a clean, no-styling UI that still felt like a learning platform
Managing user state, lesson flow, game progress, and data in a remote 3-person team
Making sure the AI understood context, not just words
