Our app isn't super complicated but it solves some classic music festival problems. It also side-steps classic Lolla mobile reception issues. There is nothing you need to access online once the app is downloaded.First, a note about us. We’re more than a small group of web & mobile app developers - we're out in the crowd. Our dev team has 11 Lollapaloozas, 4 Coachellas and 8 Pitchforks under our belts. So we set out to create an app that would be useful to us as festival goers. Let's take a look. The basic questions we set out to answer are who's playing now and who's playing next? These are the most common questions a music festival attendee faces. You can decide before the fest which shows you want to see but, as Deadmau5 might say, "sometimes things get complicated". Maybe you are grabbing a drink and socializing with friends, or you get hungry and decide you need to sit down and take a break. What if one of your friends drags you to see a different band? All of these things can derail your "plan". Then you need to improvise. That’s where we come in.The main purpose of our app is to tell you: Who is performing right now Who is up next That’s all that really matters at the moment - and you didn’t come out to the show to be staring at your phone. A three-day festival is a marathon of music, so we also thought it would help if you could choose artists by how you feel at the moment. Wanna hit the dance party, get your fist pump on, or chill out in the shade? We’ll help you find the artists best suited for how you’re doing at the moment. And this is just the beginning. We’re not just building this app alone - we're building a community where we can get direct feedback from other festival goers. This community helped us categorize the bands for this application. And the same community is eager to help refine and develop our music festival apps in the future. We realize that what we're building here isn't perfect... yet. We are on the way, and greatly appreciated this opportunity to combine our love of “going to the show” with the pride we take in the work we do. Thank you for your time. Rock!
