Inspiration
I feel like even for the people I've known the longest, sometimes when I talk to them I randomly learn something new about them. I think it's a pretty cool feeling learning something new, despite being close to someone for so long.
What it does
After inputting your friend's phone number, an AI agent will text them and have a short conversation with them. After the conversation, the user will be able to see a website based on the conversation the agent has with the friend.
How we built it
- Next.js 15
- Three.js
- TypeScript
- Twilio SMS
- OpenAI GPT-4o-mini for conversations
- DALL-E 3 for image gen
- Claude for website generation
- Supabase (PostgreSQL)
- GSAP + lenis for animations
Challenges we ran into
- Making the generated websites look good (especially hard when one shotting)
- Generating the websites quickly
- I got banned on Devpost the first time I tried submitting this (no clue what happened)
Accomplishments that we're proud of
- A polished UI
- A fully functional group of AI agents
- Organized an AI pipeline to one shot websites in a reasonable amount of time
What we learned
- Solo hacking is hard
- Lots about building: this was my first time using many of these stacks
