Inspiration

Sometimes we think about matter and quickly post them on social platforms. Then delete them considering it could affect our image on the platform. Thoughts are required to be expressed and the comfort of expressing them helps the mind to be free. Unfortunately, conventional social media is tagged to identity and not ideas. White sink breaks this bond and allows expression.

What it does

Anonymous users can post things they have in mind. The platform posts the expression in a publically scrollable post. The posts are untagged and disappear in 10 minutes of posting. This makes people express things without any traces because it is important to get things out.

How I built it

I tried building it using glide apps and google sheets with a zapier integration.

What's next for White Sink

Public deployment on its own domain, plus feedback from psychologists on how we can make self reflecting platforms.
