Inspiration
We chose this project because we wanted to learn about open source and contributing to projects and the community. We've used whisper before and thought it would be fun to contribute to it in a meaningful way that would help others like us.
What it does
We decided to create three contributions. A README change, a code change, and a discussion post. The README pr adds more specificity to information within a resarch paper and what it means.

How we built it
We built it using markdown and a code change using python.
Challenges we ran into
We are new to git and github and had to learn a lot of the tools and processes along the way. Additionally, we learned to debug and had to find areas for improvement within the code.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
The discussion post offered insight for Mac users and helpful tips for installation in a concise way using markdown.
What we learned
We learned how to contribute to open source software, git, github, and Markdown.
What's next for Whisper Open Source Contribution
We hope to continue to contribute to this project and also build more projects with it. This way we can provide inspiration and help for the community.
