What it does

Highlight a word inside a Microsoft Word document with your mouse or keyboard. Then let the fun begin by allowing the add-in to search for websites, videos, images, and current news based on what you've selected (i.e. highlighted).

Perfect for research or finding inspiration.

How I built it was

Duck-taped with Javascript.

Challenges I ran into

The add-in was built over a weekend. But I wish I had more time to add more "search features"...like maps and support of language translations.

What I learned

Javascript still sucks.

What's next for Whisper
