We have a hypothesis that the space of actuators in computing is not well explored. 2014 technology reliably produces visual and audio sensations, but features only primitive forms of tactile feedback, such as rumble joysticks and vibrations on a smartphone.

Computers are a powerful method of interacting with the world. Humans have 5 senses and an impressive array of sensors. Why should computer interaction be limited to the eyes and a single finger?

Whiskers is an exploration in the concept of physical-sensory computing. The future is more than the eyes and an index finger.
