It's hard to determine where your friend is from if you are from different continents. Here is an app for you to tell you where your friend is from!
What it does
You take a photo of your friend, and the app will tell you where your friend is most likely from.
How we built it
We used Clarifai API to build our models to recognize faces.
Challenges we ran into
We had difficulty using Clarifai SDK
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are able to recognize Japanese and Mongolian.
What we learned
We learned how to integrate with Clarifai API and send ajax request from iPhone.
What's next for WhichNation
We would like to support other countries as well.
