Inspiration

Solar Bears, Magic, and #HacktheArena wanted to have a way to engage fans, deploying an array of microphone sensor to each section would allow a visual display of which section was loudest, and the results could be displayed on the JumboTron, etc. to engage in contests, and get the fans more excited.

What it does

Shows which section is loudest in real time, tells the JumboTron operator.

How I built it

Configured Array of sound sensors using Wifi enabled arduino, and a Database, and web front end to feed the Jumbotron operator details. Could be further automated in future if desirable.

Challenges I ran into

Limited time to deploy this during Hackathon - but easily enough to build.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

Original idea / affordable cost / good ROI

What I learned

Not every section has power supply, so use batteries.

What's next for Which Section can cheer most Loudly? #HacktheArena

Build out and deploy prototype if Amway/Magic/Solar Bears are interested in proceeding.
