Which Path Will You Take?

Inspiration: I was inspired by the global Sustainable Development Goal 13 that focuses on Climate Action.

What it does: I wanted to bring attention to environmental concerns, beautifully and subtly speaking to the dilemma that our earth and we all are facing. I want provoke viewers to think about the paths we choose to either care for or destroy our planet, and ponder over what that means to all of us.

How we built it: I used AI sitll images from ArtsEnvoy.ai, and imported them into CapCut for final edits, animation, effects and captions.

Challenges we ran into: This piece was very enjoyable to make. I loved working with the animated images, and the background music. I think the biggest challenge was deciding what sequence to put the images in, and how to animate the piece without it distracting too much from the message.

Accomplishments that we're proud of: This piece was very wonderful to make. I loved working with the animated images, and the background music, to create a piece that is both beautiful and thought-provoking.

What we learned: I learned that animations can really give you a wide platform for expression by depicting the world in ways that live action may not be able to do.

What's next for Which Path Will You Take?: I hope to make a series of pieces that touch, not only, on climate action and environmental issues, but also gender and racial inequality, economic disparities, and other societal issues.
