Whether-Weather

Inspiration

With such a diverse student body at purdue and the volatile nature of an Indiana climate, it can be hard as a student to adapt to the changing weather patterns.

What it does

Tells people what they should wear at their current location based on weather preferences.

How we built it

Used an API to get weather info and made an algorithm to make a suggestions based on user data. All of which was presented on a GUI made in Java.

Challenges we ran into

Lots of research into API’s and finding the right values for our algorithm.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We got the API to work and the GUI to flow smoothly throughout the application’s runtime

What we learned

API and class organization, as well as method creation and GUI building.

What's next for Whether-Weather

Make the algorithm take in more values so it's more accurate
