Inspiration
Whilst millions of people in developing countries starve, many citizens of the United States enjoy food in abundance. When an expiration date passes or something does not fit in the fridge, Americans often have no problem throwing things out. The prevailing attitude is that it takes too much time and effort to reduce waste. Our project is intended to make minimalism easy, to promote environmental consciousness, and to convince middle- and upper-class families not to produce an excess of waste. We do this by efficiently calculating the configuration of items that save the most space in each freezer and/or fridge.
What it does
Where2Put takes pictures of your food estimates their sizes, and recommends where to put them in your fridge to optimize the limited space.
