"Where was that, Foursquare?" uses the Foursquare API to allow users to upload a photo. The application then uses the file's EXIF data (dates and GPS coordinates) and checks whether there is an existing Checkin from the user. If there is, the user can upload the image to the Checkin. If no Checkin is found, the user is presented a choice of 5 nearby venues. The user can select the correct venue (usually the first venue will be correct), and - if selected - upload the photo and comment. "Where was that, Foursquare?" is a very useful travel related app. Imagine a long, adventurous trip through exotic destinations, where data may not be available or expensive. You can complete your Checkin history and upload your pictures from the comfort of your home.
