Where RU?

Inspiration

I was inspired by the existing issue of having to better involve students on campus and keep the connected through a social network

What it does

Provides a live map feed that displays events ongoing in the area on campus

How we built it

Using React Expo and Android SDK

Challenges we ran into

Time constraints and learning how to use the Android emulator

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Getting the Android emulator to function and produce live modifications to the program

What we learned

I learned how to utilize AI in my workflow while creating an application's frontend

What's next for Where RU?

Further Back End developments that would have it integrated with a Rutgers student's profile
