Inspiration
We started with deciding which challenge felt the most relevant to us. Some members were artists themselves and other members realized that growing up, they never had access to the art.
What it does
It takes a user's location and provides relevant information to free places to view and explore the world of art. It also allows users to upload there own art.
How we built it
We used html, css and javascript/jquery to create the project. We used local storage to take in the users information.
Challenges we ran into
Some members of the team have never done web development before so it was a learning experience!
Accomplishments that we're proud of
The gallery page is really well done and the amount of research that went into the project took just as much time as the actual coding.
What we learned
A lot about web development and the amount of public resources New York provides for it's people!
What's next for Where It's At!
Getting the map to be interactive!
