Where Am I?

"Where Am I?" is a website that one can use to find their location, as well as the Indigenous Territory that they are on using our API.

Inspiration - It was the requirement for the challenge

What it does - It searches up which First Nations tribes lived in your area and information related to them. You can also search up where other tribes were located and find out information about them

How we built it - With HTML/CSS/JS and the Native Land API

Challenges we ran into - We originally tried using Flask but switched to JavaScript when we realized it would be more efficient. The location finder was also initially buggy and could not find the user's location

Accomplishments that we're proud of - Using JavaScript and using it to effectively use an API.

What we learned - How to use JavaScript and how to implement it with HTML/CSS and an API call

What's next for Where Am I? - To make a user system with moderators
