Inspiration

The theme was human interaction so it would be best to make a type of calendar to organize your events, view your groups schedules, free time overlaps, and etc.

What it does

It's a web app that allows you to create a lobby to add plans, set your availability, and view them in a calendar like format.

How we built it

Due to it being unfinished it is frontend only, using React TS and Vite.

Some unpredictable circumstances came up and I'm no longer able to dedicate as much time to this project as planned during the time provided. As a solo high school developer, working in a limited timeframe of approx. 4 hours, I focused on building and submitting what I could. While the project is incomplete, in the final hour I've decided to submit it anyway as it represents my ideas and approach.

What's next for WhenFree

I may work on this in a future by setting up a DB for lobby creation, deleting/renewing invites, mini global chat, and much more. As there are other ideas I would of liked to add and I find this theme of Human Interaction to be unique so I may come back to it on my own time.
