When2Meet

Inspiration

The inspiration was from me using this myself in a few extracurricular clubs I was in. I thought it was a great idea but could use a UI refresh and some extra functionality.

What it does

It is the easiest way to find the best meeting times and does not require an account.

How we built it

Django, Tailwind CSS, and Alpine.js. React was avoided as this was fairly lightweight.

Challenges we ran into

Things took longer than expected and Tailwind and Alpine were new to us so it took some time to learn.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We got the groundwork laid down.

What we learned

Make a proper plan before coding the backend, ran into some issues regarding that.

What's next for When2Meet

Bug fixes and extra features.
