When Everything Changed

I was inspired by the problems I saw and learned as a teacher going through the COVID-19 pandemic.

I hope it helps others learn what I learned from the pandemic.

When I heard about the competition the story seemed to just come to me all at once.

One of the most challenging things I ran into was getting the right grammar through the editing process! I am sure it was challenging for my sister, Charity, who did the illustrations as I kept adding or changing things!

I am glad that my sister and I worked so well together.

I learned editing can be a long process!

I hope it encourages and helps people all over the world, especially children. If this selection is chosen, I am hoping some of the prize can help my sister get to art college in the fall which is something she has always wanted to do.
