Inspiration
Every Redditor has experienced it: you're scrolling through your feed, you read a post, and before you even see the subreddit name, you know exactly where it came from.
The daily puzzle format (like Wordle, Connections, or the NYT crossword) creates a shared experience. Everyone gets the same challenge.
Reddit is the perfect platform for this. Where else would you find so many distinct communities, each with their own voice, their own culture, their own way of writing?
How It Was Built
The Hybrid Architecture Challenge
Devvit offers two UI approaches: Blocks (native Reddit components) and WebView (embedded HTML).
Blocks are perfect for the post cards. They render natively, support conditional logic, and integrate seamlessly with Reddit. But for the actual gameplay (word-by-word reveals, countdown timers, smooth transitions), WebView is needed.
Solution: Blocks render the card, WebView hosts the game.
