Inspiration

Specially abled people face many problems, one of them being how to interpret the image correctly. For this reason, Image Captioning can be very useful for them because then the image can be depicted properly. Therefore, CaptionBot uses machine learning approaches to identify the image which is being requested to generate a caption.

How I built it

Using Microsoft's CaptionBot AI, it helped me to create this wonderful tool which can be used to generate the caption of an image.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

I think that this tool will help specially-abled people to interpret images at times when they have decision-making problems.

What I learned

  1. How to use the CaptionBot Package, and
  2. Working with form inputs in Flask.

What's next for WhatTheImage - Image Caption Generator

Generating a live feed of caption generated whenever any user visits a website. So that they don't have to manually try things out.
