Inspiration
What it does
Currently, it allows users to present an excel sheet detailing what message to be sent to each recipient. It then goes on to send those messages automatically via Whatsapp Web.
How we built it
We used Selenium on Python to automate the process of extracting data from the excel sheet and then grabbing the right tags from Whatsapp Web to manipulate their fields.
Challenges we ran into
Ever changing webpages, for now, we operate exclusively on XPaths, we plan to shift to a bot-based model from a web-based model.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Being able to send custom messages to a large group of people individually automatically.
What we learned
We learned selenium and the power of a diverse team to build on an idea and create something useful very quick.
