I contributed to the WhatsApp Chat Wrapped project by designing and implementing the emotional tone analysis and verdict classification system. I developed the custom NLP engine in TypeScript, including sentiment scoring, emoji parsing, and communication pattern detection to identify dynamics such as emotional imbalance, supportiveness, and intimacy. I also built the weighted scoring logic for relationship verdicts (e.g., “Romantic Potential” or “You Were Ghosted”), created personalized comment generation based on chat features, and ensured the tone detection felt nuanced and context-aware. Additionally, I helped refine the frontend results display to clearly communicate emotional insights to users.
