Shipped WhatIf at Hacklanta '26!

After an intense sprint—and a full all-nighter connecting our frontend to the AI pipeline—WhatIf is officially submitted!

Here is what we managed to bring together:

  • Mobile Experience (Expo / React Native): Smooth flow to capture a photo of a local space (like an unshaded bus stop), select improvement suggestions, and define the edit area.
  • AI Pipeline Integration: Scene analysis, automated proposal drafting, and visual concept generation powered by the Gemini API, running asynchronously so the mobile UI stays responsive.
  • Community Proposals & Export: Complete workflow from review and community endorsement to PDF generation for local representatives.
