Inspiration
We have both been touched by issues linked to social media and their impact on what people think (in particular close people to us) and what they're allowed to see. Bringing more control to users is something that matters to us.
What it does
It takes all the sources of information of a user (social media, newsletters) and curates and produces a personalized video digest for them every morning.
How we built it
Python + openai + js + some data collection and scraping APIs and tools.
Challenges we ran into
The amount of data one can receive every single day, that needs to be reduced before even being able to be summarized by an LLM. Plugging everything together in less than 4 hours.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Actually ending up with a full video digest based on real data in this afternoon and finding it accurate and representative of what was in our inbox.
