Inspiration
Mom has a hard time remembering what we work on. And, in our age of new technologies everyday, that's understandable. But we decided to make fun of it anyway. (We're in the humor route.)
What it does
Tells mom about the Truth.
Truth with a capital 'T' and playfully snide comments interspersed with real facts. There are three levels of condescension to choose from. Play around with it.
How we built it
With computers.
We use ReactJS, a Bootstrap port, some code we threw together, NPM, Stylus, and GulpJS. When an text input is given, we pull from Wikipedia, regex a bunch of words and phrases, and deliver a response. And, at the top level of condescension, we even have generated mom-memes.
