Throughout art school we are encouraged to develop our own unique voice, our vision. This signature look was almost always tied to the mastery of the medium. I could excel in expressing my voice, leaving my finger prints with brush stroke and pencil line.

Now with generative artificial intelligence the mastery over the paint brush is removed.

What is the unique artist vision looking at one more cat in a space suit. Who is the art behind the last cyborg warrior? Who actually made this? Where is the artist signature style.

Will this era yield a DaVinci or Picasso. What if an artist doesn’t need to mast er a medium anymore?

Can they still develop their own unique look and style?
