Inspiration

I wanted to tell my story. I wanted to overcome the limitations of my environment and express it through AI tools.

What it does

I had an experience where the audience and I met and communicated with the world.

How we built it

Movie title : What is a movie: A prompt

All ideas, themes, the full scenario, and the direction were entirely conceived and created by me, the filmmaker.

This film was made with the help of generative AI.

The movie used AI as below, and it used voice (narrative, dialogue), music, sound effects, and subtitle fonts.

Audio - Usage details:The Pixabay site uses music and sound effects as free downloads for commercial use,A new voice was created as a prompt by entering text on the Eleven Labs site for voice conversion (TTS) corresponding to a narration or dialogue, or by using the Voice Design function on the Eleven Labs site. The following details are the source site of used music and sound effects, and the music and usage details. Other sounds, voices, and sound effects were automatically generated by creating videos on the Kling site, which uploads images and converts them into videos when prompts are entered.

Challenges we ran into

I had a hard time putting the story I was thinking into a scene.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

It's meaningful to me that I was able to complete the work under such circumstances.

I was grateful to have been selected for the LarissaLuminaAIFilmFestival, Berlin SciFi Film Festival, and AIFilmFestivalJapan2025.

Attending AIFilmFestivalJapan2025 was a truly meaningful experience, allowing me to connect with audiences and film festival organizers through my film.

What we learned

I learned that I had a lot to learn. I realized I needed to study and work hard to bring my story to life.

I'm working hard to express my story in film, researching methods to do so, and plan to continue expressing it in my next AI film.
