Inspiration

• Ever wondered how much money you could have had if you had invested in that one stock at the correct time.
• We allow first time investors to venture into the world of stock trading by allowing them to trade based on the past so they can learn how to invest for the future

What it does

• A web application which allows users to see which stocks they could have invested in, and what returns they would have gotten
• Our audience is investors and people who want to learn how to invest in stocks
• This product helps users learn about stocks, and the best possible way to invest in them using historical data

How we built it

• We used IEX's api to get historical financial data
• We used EJS to display the data.
• Heroku for hosting

Challenges we ran into

• IEX was creating a lot of trouble for us
• Heroku version compatibility issues
