Inspiration
Start with my misunderstanding that Alzheimer is Dementia. But it's not (Alzheimer is like a subset of Dementia). I read from a website to understand more. There were a bunch of websites that gave information about Dementia. However, after I went through many of the websites, I found out that they give the information in a long huge paragraph. As I was one of the people who zoned out easily, I found it hard to catch up to the point. Therefore, I want to create a website that summarizes the main topics first before going through something deeper.
What it does
Actually this was just a simple site that contained information about Dementia. But instead of putting it in a long paragraph, I tried to break it into bullet points which I hope will be easier to follow through.
How we built it
Mainly using HTML5
Challenges we ran into
Almost everything is new to me. This is my first Hackathon and as a beginner, I completely have no idea what this is going to be. One of the challenges is to learn new stuff and create a website within 36 hours. Also, another challenges is when trying to fix the error that occur during the coding and trying to learn and understand how the code actually works.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
I'm able to build up my first website within a time limit based on what I know .
What we learned
I have learned basic HTML, its syntax, tags and much more from the workshop and actually using them in the project. Also, I start to learn some CSS and Javascirpt but still a little confused about them (will learn further)
What's next for WHAT!? I'M FORGOT!
Improve a more responsive website and easier to read using CSS and Javascripts. Add some bots or puzzle games that might help people who went into the website have a chance to exercise their minds! (Reduce the risk of Dementia:))
