Inspiration: We were inspired by the concept of social media and platforms such as LinkedIn and as such allowed us to develop a website that runs by similar format in which students, specifically female students, are able to access and explore more opportunities within STEM related careers

What it does: This web platform will provide a resource that students can explore, learn and get access to various programs and workshops in order to be exposed to the world of STEM. As an industry which strives to innovate and promote inclusivity and accessibility, this is immensely important for the growth and success of STEM and everyone within it.

How we built it: We built it through various programs that allow us to ship and deploy within the extreme time constraint of this Hackathon. Key program used were Replit and Kiro which helped develop the entire app, including frontend, backend and UI/UX designs within the time limit. Also, Claude was consulted in order to develop full spec documents

Challenges we ran into: Some of the challenges were understanding and finalising the solutions for the problems we want to address. It was a very broad and important topic which we want to fully cover and understand before implementing any potential solutions. Also, a lot of updates were necessary in order to develop the final webpage which involved a lot of rethinking and consideration.

Accomplishments that we're proud of: For this specific hackathon, our ability to fully deploy a functional and engaging website that we believe could make a significant impact for this specific theme is definitely something we label as an achievement. Also, we believe that this solution is unique and something that has not been implemented or only implemented minimalistically.

What we learned: We learned a lot about Vibe Coding and especially the tools and platforms available to develop such as Replit and Kiro. We also learned a lot about the specifics of website design and how to vibe code properly and ensure all features are functional, preventing the introduction of bugs later down the production line.

What's next for What ?f: If this website is successful in implementation, there are consideration to make contacts with several industry leaders and schools to extend our outreach on our platform. Also, an app version would be something that would improve the accessibility and functionality of our idea, ensuring everyone could access this from anywhere with an internet connection
