Inspiration
When I was in high school, I thought hackers were guys in hoodies drinking Mountain Dew and "breaking into the mainframe" at 2 am for fun. So I didn't go to college as a computer science major and was almost miserable. I want to break that image by giving people the ability to create a hacker and hacker space that represents them. My project allows users to customize what their idea of a hacker looks like, because seeing is truly important.
How I built it
I illustrated everything by myself in Photoshop. I then layered them on top of each other using CSS and Javascript to manipulate the central image. I coded the site with HTML, CSS, and Javascript.
