At Wellesley, through one of the Office of Disability Services' programs, students are paid to takes for one or many students in the class who needs accommodation for a disability.

We reached out to a student who worked as a notetaker and he described the process as cumbersome. He had to take notes by hand, photocopy the document, and drop them off at an office with limited hours that didn’t always align with his class schedule. Our system bypasses these complications and makes learning accessible to more people.

Notify is an online portal for administrators, notetakers, and the students who need notes.

As a note user, view or download notes whenever a new set is uploaded. As an administrator, you can give notetakers access to courses to upload their notes. As a notetaker, you can upload your notes in various file formats and view your previous submissions. Class notes can take many different shapes. With Notify you can to take a picture of a diagram on a whiteboard or an informational chart in a textbook.
