Inspiration

Our inspiration was to make something fun and make a game where the user interacts with our project.

What it does

Our website describes a graphic and shows the code to create a basic version of the game. The user clicks on a hole to check if a mole is there. If it is not, the hole turns red. If the mole is there, an alert is given and the hole turns green. It is linked to a less graphic but more challenging Java version of the game.

How we built it

We built it using HTML, Javascript, CSS, and Java.

Challenges we ran into

We ran into the challenge of trying to randomize where the mole would be. We had a bit of trouble connecting the CSS and the Javascript to distinguish where the mole was hiding.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We made the game functional by creating a score. This is also our first Hackathon, so we were able to work under the pressure and organize ourselves.

What we learned

We learned a little more about how to connect HTML to CSS and Javascript and how to make it function. We also learned how to manage our time better and that supporting each other is crucial.

What's next for Whack-A-Mole

We want to fully randomize the Whack-A-Mole and give the player the option to play as the mole as well.
