WG ( What's Gender )

Inspiration

What inspired us to come up with this idea was learning from yesterday's experience when practicing in the field.

What it does

Because obtaining animal data is quite difficult, therefore this idea emerged to make it easier to collect gender data from red frogs.

How we built it

By using the yolo algorithm, then making the application by coding, then testing it in the field so that it can reduce the bugs in this app.

Challenges we ran into

The challenge we faced was the various types of Red Frog photos needed, grouping the photos between male and female. Lack of members who are skilled in IT.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

If this apps done, it can help all the researches who focused on studying Katak Merah and assist the national park in recording and managing the development of red frogs.

What we learned

What we learned is that all research in the field is quite difficult, so technology is there to make things easier.

What's next for WG ( What's Gender )

In the future, we hope that not only gender can be scanned but body size can also be analyzed in the future. then we also hope that in the future not only Red Frogs can be analyzed but also various other types of amphibians.
